So prond of myself with score 68 for Chemistry paper

Finally, I got my courseworks: Chemistry, newspaper, 1st presentation, back. from evaluating myself based on obtained scores, i can say that i have had the positive improvement since the score keep increasing. nevertheless, none of them exceed 70 mark, highest one is 68 of which belong to CHEMISTRY. that why i am so pround of me.

you never know how much stress i was, how tough chem is. the topic is ' investigating the Nutrient (N, P, Si) distribution in Tamar estuary' of which is completely new for me. i felt stress at that time during 2 weeks working on it. we: Astrid, Naveen, Maggie, Zippora, had worked together. we discussed, shared out our opinion and of course i also shared my stupid opinions as well. Ha ha .......i have learned alot from this working group. it enhance me, change me from lacking of chemistry knowledge to understand roughly about it. I have to say thanks to Naveen who is a key person explaining lots of chem stuff to me ( i kept asking stupid questions that seem very easy for him and he was patient to answer me willingly every times).

Naveen have hold his Ph.D already on ' Microbiology' (sound difficult subject). i have a deep memory about 'Bacteria' that he gave us presentation in the class. Good explaination! I think he can be good lecturer as well as scientist. Kumar Naveen..........indian guy ..........my good comapnion ..............

Back to my study, I am getting love discussing, and sharing opinions in group. Oh almost forget, I really really like education system here because, fantastic, you know every things you learn in the class can be used immediate in your research paper. This is a kind of what i had constantly kept asking myself when i had studied in Thailand as engineer. For example, when i studied Statistics, i have know theories but what happen is when i want to use it i just have no idea which theory is suitable foe the circumstance. this is a failure of education system in Thailand ( of just mine, but my Thai are facing this problems as well). For my opinion, Thai student have got numerous data teacher forget to give them a map to get their specific targets. furthermore, we have less practice on how to apply in the real situations. Then not so long everything student have learned will dissappear as long as those theories never been used. finally we just waste our time in the class (as same as i feel when i studied engineer).

I feel fun every times I do reading
but i feel sad st the same time when i know the fact.

The fact is humankind will be reacted by their actions in form of Global Warming impacts.

it seem not much change i can do


When will i have enough knowledge to help my country, to save the earth?

Will I have? Will I be?

is it fortune or we can create?

Global Warming impact was created by us, so it is clear that we can create the opposite impact one.

Start from you not others
BUT do spread it to others please

Make change by your hands even they are little.
you will never know how powerful it is till you START!

First thing will happen is beating in your heart with proud in yourself
the proud will drive you to do something else
those things will be good or bad .........................
depending on your ATTITUDE!!!

พรีเซ็นหน้าชั้นครั้งแรก

วิชา Integrated Workshops for Coastal and Policy(IWCOP) ต้องนำเสนอหน้าชั้นในหัวข้อ "Coastal of the world (your own country)" เลือก จังหวัดชลบุรี เพราะเป็นจุดที่หนาแน่นด้านอุตสาหกรรม ท่องเที่ยว ท่าเรือน้ำลึก บวกกับแปลนคร่าวๆว่าเราคงจะทำงานที่จังหวัดนี้แหล่ะ (ก็พื้นฐานเราอุตสาหกาาร นี่นา) เราจะกลับไปทำให้จังหวัดนี้เจริญแบบยั่งยืน ง่ายๆก็คือ "เมืองเจริญ สิ่งแวกล้อมดี คนสุขภาพดี" กลับมาที่เรื่องพรีเซ็น หลังจากทุมเททำpower point นำเสนอเป็นเวลาเกือบสองอาทิตย์ เมื่อคืนก็ซ้อมพูดกับตัวเองหลายรอบ ก็ว่าพร้อมระดับนึงนะ ไม่ตื่นเต้นเท่าไร (ปกติถ้าต้องพูดหน้าชั้นเป็นหน้าแดงทุกที) หลังจากเพื่อนร่วมชั้นพรีเซ็นจบไป 4 คน Gillian ก็เอ่ยชื่อเรา Kitima สะดุ้งเล็กน้อยก่อนลุกไปหน้าชั้น เริ่มตื่นเต้นแล้วเวลานี้ พยายามนึกคำพูดที่จดไว้ทุกคำ ที่ท่องมาเมื่อคืนหลายๆรอบ แต่แล้วพอเวลานี้ กลับลืมหมดเลย เลยกลายเป็นว่าต้องคิดคำพูดสดๆตรงนั้น ถึงจะอย่างนั้นก็เถอะผลจากการซ้อมหนักก็ช่วยเราได้เยอะมาก และแล้วก้ผ่านมาได้ด้วยดี (อาจจะไม่ดีเลิศ) แต่ก็ภูมิใจนะวันนี้ และโล่งใจด้วยเพราะเครียดมาหลายวันแล้วเนื่องจากกดดันจากงานเยอะ (รายงาน 3 เล่ม + 1 presentation by 8 Nov.2007) หนึ่งในรายงานที่ทำให้เครียดที่สุดก็ " Investigating Nutrient in Tamar estaury" เคมีล้วนๆ ยากมากๆ ไม่รู้สึกว่าจะทำได้ หรือไม่รู้จะเริ่มตรงไหนด้วยซ้ำ Tough!

สิ่งหนึ่งที่สังเกตุได้ชัดเจนของการศึกษาที่นี่คือ การเรียนแบบคิด วิเคราะห์ ค้นคว้าด้วยตนเอง นักเรียนชาวอังกฤษ แคนนาดา บราซิล โปรตุเกตุ รัสเซีย ฝรั่งเศส ตั้งคำถามเก่งมากๆ เห็นจุดที่เราไม่เห็น ไม่รู้เอาคำถามมาจากไหน เราไม่เห็นคิดได้เลย นี่ล่ะเป็นสิ่งหนึ่งที่เราจะต้องพัฒนาด้านการคิดดวิเคราะห์ ตอนนี้เลยพยายามด้วยการศึกษา Mind Mapping ของ Tony Buzan จากการศึกษาในระยะอันสั้นราวเกือบสองอาทิตย์ พบว่าเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงของการทำงาน การจดโน๊ต การอ่าน การทำรายงาน ผลลัพทืคือ เราหาจุดมุ่งหมาย หรือจุดประสงค์ของการอ่าน จดโน๊ต ทำรายงาน ได้ และทำให้ทำงานได้อย่างรวดเร็ว (กว่าเดิม จากงมอ่านโดยไม่มีจุดยืน ไม่รู้ว่าต้องการอะไรจากการอ่านนั้น หาข้อมูลทางเนทอย่างไร้จุดยืน โดยไม่รู้ว่าต้องการอะไร เหมือนเดินห้างโดยไม่มีรายการของที่จะต้องซื้อ เดินไปเรื่อยเผื่อว่าจะเจอบางอย่างอาจมีประโยชน์ ซึ่งเป็นอะไรที่เสียเวลามากๆๆๆๆๆ ไม่ชอบเลย แต่ตอนนั้นไม่รู้ว่าต้องเริ่มอย่างไร รู้สึกเหมือนกันว่าทำไมเราใช้เวลาเยอะจังในการทำรายงาน แล้วก็เข้าข้างตัวเองด้วยการโทษเรื่องภาษาอังกฤษ ว่าคงเพราะเราอ่อนภาษา แต่จริงๆแล้วเป็นเพราะเราทำงานอย่างไร้ประสิทธิภาพต่างหากล่ะ)

Mind Mapping "Making - Note" สอนวิธีจดโน๊ต มีลำดับ 8 ขั้นตอนดังนี้

1. Browse very quickly - to get general feel for the way it is organized
2. work out the length of time to be spent studying and determine the amount of material to be covered in that time
3. mind map what you already know about the topic "Grapping hooks"
4. Define your aims and objectives for this study - complete a different mind map of all the questions that need to be answered.
5. take an overview of the text, look at table, heading, results, conclusions, major illustrations which catch your eye. - this process will give you the central image and main branch (the way brain works)
6. move to the preview , look at all material not covered in the overview, particularly the beginning and ends of paragraphs, sections and chapters.
7. Inview, in which you fill in the bulk of the learning puzzle, still skipping over any major problem areas
8. review stage, in which you go back over the difficult area you skipped in the earlier stages and look back over the text to answer any remaining questions. at this point you should complete your mind map notes.

ซึ่งแถบนี้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางทะเล กิจกรรมทางน้ำ และเขตอุตสาหกรรมหลัก(โรงงาน และท่าเรือขนาดใหญ่) อัตราค่าจ้างเฉลี่ย 437 ปอนด์ต่อสัปดาห์ (ต่ำกว่าอัตราเฉลี่ยของประเทศที่ประมาณ 500 ปอนด์ต่อสัปดาห์ ยิ่งในลอนดอนที่มีอัตราจ้างสูงสุดที่มากกว่า 600 ปอนด์ต่อสัปดาห์)

เติ้ลเลือกทางที่ใช้ค่าใช้จ่ายต่ำที่สุด จากการค้นข้อมูลทางอินเตอร์เนทก็มาจบลงที่ "รถบัส" จากสนามบิน Heathrow (Heathrow Central Bus) ของ National Express ซึ่งเป็นของรัฐบาลอังกฤษเขาค่ะ แล้วต่อด้วยรถบัสของ Megabus ไปพลิมัธ ค่าโดยสารต่อแรก 4 ปอนด์ ต่อที่สอง 8 ปอนด์ รวมแล้วประหยัดกว่าขึ้นรถบัสของ National Express จากสนามบินตรงไปที่พลิมัธ ซึ่งราคาอยู่ที่ 28-32 ปอนด์ เอาล่ะค่ะตอนนี้เติ้ลก็รู้แล้วว่าเติ้ลสามารถประหยัดเงินได้ไม่ต่ำกว่า 16 ปอนด์ แถมยังได้นั่งรถชมวิวตัวเมืองลอนดอนได้อีก ว้าว คุ้ม แต่ถ้าหากต้องประหยัดเวลา ควรนั่งรถไฟตรงจากสนามบินไปพลิมัธเลยจะเร็วกว่ามาก รถไฟใช้เวลา 4 ชั่วโมงค่ะ แต่ค่าโดยสาร 32 ปอนด์ แต่รถบัสที่เติ้ลเลือกน่ะ ต่อแรก 1 ชั่วโมง ต่อสอง 6 ชั่วโมง รวมก็ 7 ชั่วโมงเข้าไปแล้ว (แต่เติ้ลก็ชอบนะคะ ตื่นตาตื่นใจดี ก็สำหรับวันนี้มาเที่ยวนี่คะ)
